Eco-Friendly Materials
Central to Swimbarre's sustainability efforts is our choice of materials. We proudly use ECONYL® yarns sourced from discarded fishing nets, and other pre and post-consumer waste to create our luxurious styles. We also use recycled polyester and eco dyes.
By repurposing these materials, we not only reduce waste in our oceans and landfills but also help conserve precious natural resources.

ECONYL® yarn is a 100% regenerated nylon fibre
We use ECONYL® regenerated polyamide from pre and post consumer nylon waste. Our intent is for our customers to make more creative and considered choices, steering away from a throwaway culture of fast fashion, and reducing our environmental impact.
01. Rescue
The ECONYL® Regeneration System starts with rescuing waste, like fishing nets, fabric scraps, carpet flooring and industrial plastic all over the world. That waste is then sorted and cleaned to recover all of the nylon possible.
02. Regenerate
Through a radical regeneration and purification process, the nylon waste is recycled right back to its original purity. That means ECONYL® regenerated nylon is exactly the same as virgin nylon.
03. Remake
ECONYL® regenerated nylon is processed into yarns and polymers for the fashion and interior industries.
04. Reimagine
The beauty of ECONYL® regenerated nylon is that it has the
potential to be recycled infinitely, without ever losing its quality. We believe circular design is the future and using ECONYL® is our first step on that journey.
